The pharmacist, Marshall Mezzell, and his staff are wonderful, and their prices are exceptionally reasonable. I was once instructed by my doctor to go to a specialized pharmacy in Homewood for what turned out to be an extremely expensive medicine. I found it at 1/2 the price at Birmingham Apothecary. I think the Homewood place had simply found a way to overcharge people, and Mr. Mezzell was too honest. I give Bham Apothecary 5 stars!

On this World Pharmacist Day I want to thank my Mom"s and my pharmacy for always doing such a great job. They're friendly and fast and do their job well. Since the store has been sold the new owners have done a great job of updating it and have hired smart and kind staff. Thank you all.

Ive been using Birmingham Apothecary for 25 years for all of my medical supplies. Im a quadriplegic so they deliver everything i need and are always fast and courteous. I know if i ever need anything i can count on them.

When I'm in town, I always hit this place up as the groceries here always have good deals. And I love groceries. Coke and pickle shots are the best sustenance Birmingham has to offer. Plus the staff is first class.

Excellent pharmacy and friendly staff. They always have my prescriptions filled quickly. They also have a lot of other items available for purchase so it saves me time from going to a convenience store. Great selection of vapes.

Genuinely the best, most personable pharmacy I've ever had. The pharmacists Derek and Chis are SO kind and helpful. Derek literally remembers me by name which blows my mind. They're extremely fast and willing to help and educate their patients/customers. The staff is so sweet too. Highly recommend this pharmacy.

What a great local business! This pharmacy is a staple in Birmingham and surrounding communities. Not only do they have necessary household items for reduced prices, their pharmacy team is second to none. They provide great service in an empathic and informative way. I recently visited this pharmacy in Birmingham, and I have to say I was thoroughly impressed with their exceptional customer service. This is the BEST pharmacy in the Birmingham area. They are the most knowledgeable and professional hands down. I’m always able to speak to the pharmacist promptly to relay my prescription requests for my patients rather than sit on hold for hours when calling other chain pharmacists.
